1. It has been decided to hold Limited
Departmental Competitive Examination against 20% quota inviting
applications from amongst the serving Graduate Ministerial staff
including Typist of all Departments (except Security/RPF & Accounts)
of Headquarter Unit/Maligaon in order to fill up the vacancies in the category
of Office Superintendent (OS) in Level-6 as under :-

2. Eligibility and Service Condition of
Staff :
Serving Ministerial staff including Typist of all Departments (except Security/RPF & Accounts) possessing the educational qualification of Graduation working at HQ/Maligaon Office and non-Divisionalised Units within the jurisdiction of PNO-MLG-GHY area including staff working under GM/CON/MLG whose lien and seniority are being maintained at HQ/Maligaon and fulfilling the following conditions will be eligible to appear in the LDCE as per RBE No. 102/2005 dated.17.06.2005, 38/2019 dated 01.03.2019 and 81/2019 dated 14.05.2019 :-
i. 3
(three) years
regular service as Senior Clerk-cum-Typist in Level 5. [Authority:
Railway Board’s L/No.E(NG)I/2016/PM1/14 dated 14.05.2019 (RBE No.81/2019)]
OR
ii. 5
(Five) years
regular service as Junior Clerk-cum-Typist in Level 2 and Senior
Clerk-cum-Typist in Level 5 put together. [Authority:
Railway Board’s L/No. E (NG)I/2016/PM1/14 dated 01.03.2019 (RBE No.38/2019)]
OR
iii. 5 (Five) years regular service as Junior Clerk-cum-Typist in Level-2 (RBE No. 38/2019 dated 01.03.2019)

3. Eligible Employees are advised to read the Notification carefully and submit the applications duly filled in, signed and forwarded by Controlling Officer along with other mandatory documents prescribed according to the step by step instructions given in the notification.
